C´est commode!

Bonjour à tous! Je reviens avec un peu de bricolage. 

Chez nous, d´ici quelques mois, on va avoir de nouveau besoin de la commode-table à langer qui était dans la chambre de Zoé...

Vous allez me dire "Oh mais alors, la pauvre enfant, où va-t-elle donc ranger tous ses jolis petits habits?".  Et bien, dans cette  belle commode redécorée exprès pour elle, bien sûr!

Alors voilà comment j´ai procédé (attention, rien de compliqué ni qui requière des qualités d´ébéniste...).

Hello everybody! I´m back with some DIY. 

Here, in a few months, we will need again the changing table/chest of drawers wich was used by Zoé for her clothes...

You will say: " Oh, poor little girl, so where she will tidy up all her lovely little clothes?". Well, in that nice chest of drawers I have decorated for her, of course!

This is how I did ( nothing difficult and no cabinetmaker´s qualities needed...).

Il faut donc, une commode Ikea (ou autre) et du ruban adhésif.
It´s needed, an Ikea chest of drawers (or any other chest of drawers) and tape.

 Après avoir dessiné au crayon les triangles, je les ai peint avec la peinture acrylique couleur nuage qui restait de la chambre de Zoé.

First I drew the triangles with a pencil, and then I painted them with the clouds color acrylic painting we used for Zoé´s bedroom.

 Olala! C´est super mal peint! J´ peux pas laisser ça comme ça, c´est trop moche!
 Il y a alors 2 possibilités: ou vous êtes perfectionniste et vous recommencez jusqu´à ce que ce soit exactement comme vous le souhaitez, ou, comme moi, vous n´êtes pas perfectionniste et vous trouvez une astuce pour minimiser les dégâts...

Oh my god! It´s really bad painting! It can´t stay it like that, it´s really ugly!
So, there are 2 possibilities: you are a perfectionist and you do it again until it comes out exactly as you wish, or you are not a perfectionnist, like me, and you find a trick to minimize the damage...

J´ai opté pour l´option patine-chabby chic... Avec un papier de verre très fin, j´ai poncé les triangles, la peinture ne fait plus de gros paquets moches et ça donne un p´tit effet patiné- rustique très à la mode au Brésil (si,si, je vous assure, c´est vrai).

I choose the chabby-chic option... With a very thin sandpaper, I sanded down the triangles. The painting isn´t anymore so uggly and it get a little chabby-rustic-chic effect very fashion in Brasil ( yes, yes, it´s true!).

Et puis ensuite, une touche triangulaire de peinture acrylique rose fluo, et poncé pour rester dans le même genre.
And then, a triangular touch of neon pink acrylic painting, sanded down to stay in the same style.

 Et au final ça ne rend pas si mal dans la chambre de Zoé!

And finally, it doesn't look so bad in Zoé's bedroom!
