Bonjour! Ca y est on est arrivé en France! Et vu la météo, c´était une bonne idée d´avoir faire une cape de pluie à Zoé avant de partir! C´est cette cape que je vais vous montrer aujourd´hui.
Je n´avait pas de patron qui correspondait à la cape que je voulais faire, alors j´ai réaliser mon propre patron en m´aidant de capes trop petites de Zoé et d´indications du Grains de couture d´Ivanne Soufflet. J´ai d´abord fait la doublure (en coton jaune du magasin de Macaé) pour vérifier que mon patron était bon. Et puis, ensuite, j´ai fait la cape en cotons enduits de Linnamorata. Pour les pressions, c´est les merciers de Macaé qui s´en sont occupé! Et pour les photos, on a profité du temps (très) humide de Charente-Maritime et de la promenade au château de La Roche Courbon.
Hello! We are arrived in France! And with this weather, it was a good idea to make a rain mantle for Zoé before coming... I ´m going to show you this mantle today.
I hadn´t any pattern for the mantle I wanted to do, so I made my own pattern based on Zoé´s mantle too small and instructions from the Grains de couture of Ivanne Soufflet. I have first made the lining (in yellow cotton from Macaé´s fabric shop) to check my pattern. And then, I made the manttle in nice coated cottons from Linnamorata. The snaps are from a Macaé´s shop. And for the pictures, I enjoyed the rainy weather of Charente-Maritime and the walk to the La Roche Courbon castle.
